Himayati — GBV & reproductive health
Managed services for Syrian refugees and host community, with an external evaluation on the sustainability of services beyond humanitarian funding.
Overview
Himayati ("my protection" in Arabic) provided GBV survivor services, reproductive health programming and psychosocial support to Syrian refugee women and Jordanian host-community women in Amman. The work was implemented entirely by the Jordanian Women's Union — Un Ponte per's role was operational scaffolding.
I commissioned and managed an external evaluation focused on a difficult question: what happens to these services when humanitarian funding ends? The findings shaped JWU's subsequent fundraising strategy.
